I. Overview

 (3) Maximum Number of Participants: 10,000 (5,000 for Full, 2,000 for Half, 3,000 for the SCO Run.

1. Full Marathon (42.195 km)

Yunnan Convention Center (Start Point) → Guanjing Road → West Hongta Road → East Hongta Road → Xingti Road → Hubin Road → East Huanhu Road → West Dianchi Huizhan Road → Wujiaba Road → East Dianchi Huizhan Road → Changhong Road → East Huanhu Road → Xiaojiangwei (Turning Point) → East Huanhu Road → Hubin Road → Guanjing Road → Yunnan Convention Center (Finish Point)

2. Half Marathon (21.0975 km)

Yunnan Convention Center (Start Point) → Guanjing Road → West Hongta Road → East Hongta Road → Xingti Road → Hubin Road → East Huanhu Road → West Dianchi Huizhan Road → Wujiaba Road Crossing (Turning Point) → West Dianchi Huizhan Road → East Huanhu Road → Hubin Road → Xingti Road → East Hongta Road → West Hongta Road → Guanjing Road → Yunnan Convention Center (Finish Point)

3. SCO Run (5 km)

Yunnan Convention Center (Start Point) → Guanjing Road → West Hongta Road → (Turning Left) Dianchi Road → Haihong Road Crossing (Finish Point)

II. Registration

 (1) Schedule:

Registration Period: 10:00, December 31, 2022 to 22:00, January 31, 2023;

Time of Draw Results Announcement: Late February 2023

 (2) Minimum Age:

Full: 20 years old (born before December 31, 2003);

Half: 16 years old (born before December 31, 2007);

SCO Run: 16 years old (born before December 31, 2007);

Entrants under 18 years old shall register with entry declarations signed by their guardians or statutory agents. Entrants over 70 years old shall register with entry declarations signed by relatives and the entrants themselves.

 (3) Divisions:

1. General entrants:

Since the race is held on the plateau, 42k entrants must have a Half or Full Completion Certificate; 21k entrants must have a Half or Full Completion Certificate (the above certificates must be obtained in Category A events jointly organized by the Chinese Athletics Association from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022). Entrants of the SCO Run must have the habit of running for a long time.

*Special Note: Online marathon results are not applicable.

2. Specially invited athletes:

Athletes specially invited by the Organizing Committee, professional athletes and invited athletes from SCO member states.

 (4) Registration Fee:

Marathon

1. Chinese (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan included): RMB 200/person

2. Foreigner: USD 50/person

Half Marathon

1. Chinese (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan included): RMB 150/person

2. Foreigner: USD 30/person

SCO Run

1. Chinese (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan included): RMB 100/person

2. Foreigner: USD 20/person

 (5) Method: Register online on SCO Kunming Marathon official website (PC or Mobile Phone) or the official partner app (Mararun, ATHLETICS).

 (6) Progress: Register on the official website or app → Select the event → Read Entry Declaration → Fill in the information→ Pay the Registration Fee → Win the Draw → Refund those who failed the draw

III. Important Notes

 (1) The registration fee shall not be refunded after the successful registration of the draw winners of the SCO Kunming Marathon 2022. Transferring your qualification to another entrant is not permitted.

 (2) Information of entrants must be truthfully filled in. The Organizing Committee will verify the information and disqualify entrants whose information is found false.

 (3) Applicants will be notified of draw results through SMS. The Organizing Committee shall take no responsibility if an applicant receives no notification due to the incorrect filling in of the phone number. To ensure your successful registration, please log in to the official website during the time period in the Registration Notice and check the draw result.

 (4) Package Pick-Up: Qualified entrants shall pick up packages at the location designated by the Organizing Committee according to the regulations. The time and location will be announced on the official website and WeChat public account before the competition.

 (5) To protect the rights and interests of event sponsors, no promotional materials of commercial nature, including but not limited to flags, banners, balloons, models, etc., are allowed throughout the entire race course of the SCO Kunming Marathon 2022, except for those of the sponsor designated by the Organizing Committee. Prohibited items will be confiscated and violators will be disqualified.

 (6) The settings of the race, including the race course, water stations, and toilets, are not suitable for wheelchair and roller skate users and other special groups. In the interest of the participants' personal safety, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to terminate the eligibility of these groups. In addition, there is no wheelchair racing in this race. In principle, racing wheelchairs are not allowed to enter the race track, and the results will not be accepted.
